CNRGV welcomes Diego Pignataro during a period of 4 months within the framework of a collaboration established with the University of Lima in Peru (Gisela Orjeda the Head of the Genomics Research Unit).

The first sequencing of the tomato genome has been achieved by the International Tomato Sequencing Consortium and is now available on the SGN web site ( http://solgenomics.net/tomato/ ). CNRGV is partner of this sequencing project.

Our new building dedicated to genomic resource was inaugurated on September the 7th by Marion Guillou, the president of INRA.

DNA pools are now available for PCR screening of Hexaploid Wheat, Pepper, Rapeseed and Tomato BAC libraries.

The CNRGV moves in its new building located in the INRA Toulouse Research Center.
